At United Supermarkets, you can find:
They are having a buy 5 Red Gold items, get $5 off sale. That means you can get tomato sauce, crushed, stewed, or diced tomatoes, and diced tomatoes with green chilies for 25 cents a can and ketchup, sloppy joe mix, and salsa for 50 cents each with the deal!
There is also a buy 10 select Kraft items, save $10 sale.

At Jumbo Foods in Enid this week, you can get
10# package of hamburger meat for $1.99 a pound. (My advice, if you get this, divide it up before you freeze it lol)
They also have Ortega foods on sale and there was a 50 cents off two Ortega items coupon in last Sunday's paper.

As usual, Aldi has some great produce prices this week. You can get a 5 pound bag of potatoes for 99 cents, one pound of fresh broccoli for 79 cents, 1 pound bag of baby carrots for 49 cents, a 1 pound bag of Roma tomatoes for 49 cents, 3 pack of colored bell peppers for $1.49, and a 1 pound bag of spinach leaves for 99 cents.

Save-a-Lot deals 2-29-12
I finally got a chance to go to Save-a-Lot and use the coupons that I told you about here: It Pays to be Persistent.
I got some really great deals. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures when I got home. I was just ready to put stuff up, eat supper, and collapse. LOL.
With the first $5 certificate, I got Libby's pineapples, on sale for 99 cents a can. Got 12 cans for $11.88. Used six $1 off 2 coupons to bring it down to $5.88. Then used the $5 certificate. That made it $1.87 with tax. So I got 12 cans of pineapples for $1.87!
The other $5 certificate, I got bread, ranch dressing mix, and some mints, it was $1.10 total.
Then for the other 3 transactions, I spent $25.69, $20.13, and $23.14. Some of the great deals in there were Sunshine Cheez-It crackers, on sale for $1. Use a $1 off two coupon to bring them down to 50 cents a box (plus what I saved using the $5 off $25 coupon). Tuna Helper, $1 a box, plus used a 75 cents off 3 coupon to get them for 75 cents a box. And they had a coupon for 25 cents off a can of tuna on them so I got 3 cans of tuna for .44 cents each after the coupon. Got some General Mills Cereal for $1.67 a box after using $1 off 3 coupon.
Most of the rest of the stuff I got was just stuff I needed, but it was nice to save a little extra on it using the $5 off $25 coupons.

It pays to be persistent
Back in November, I signed up for the Save-a-Lot shopper club and got a $5 off $25 coupon. In order to get more coupons, you could refer friends and if they signed up, you got another coupon. So I referred 5 friends. Of those 5 friends, only one actually got the e-mail and signed up. None of the others ever got the e-mail. If they had got the e-mail and not wanted to do it, that was fine, but they never even got the e-mail. I waited a few days and went in and tried to enter the e-mail addresses again but it wouldn't let me since I had already referred 5. So I tried contacting Save-a-Lot through their website about the issue. No response. I waited a while and tried again, two more times. No response. Finally, last week, I decided to try one more time. I was polite and kind all through this. Which was hard for me because I was getting very annoyed. LOL. Anyway... So I went to the website and e-mailed AGAIN. I also went and looked at their Facebook page and noticed that people that posted questions, comments, etc. on there were getting pretty quick responses. So I posted there that I was having a problem and hadn't got a response from e-mailing through their website. Well, a representative replied and gave me his e-mail address. I e-mailed him what was going on. And suddenly, I also had a response from my e-mail through their website too. LOL. Anyway, they sent me two $5 gift certificates to use. And referred me to the company that does the coupons through the website. Last night, they sent me a coupon for $5 off $25 which they said I could print 5 times. Only catch? It expires in a week. So I doubt I get to use all of them. LOL. And it's in my name so I can't even share. :( But that's okay, I'm just grateful for how they finally handled it.

Save-a-Lot Deals from 11-18-11
I went to Save-a-Lot and got some great deals last night. I had two $5 off $25 purchase coupons, so I did two transactions:
Transaction #1:
10 packages of John Morrell Little Smokies
3 packages of Armour meatballs
These were all on sale for $1.99 each. With the $5 off coupon, it made them $1.61 each, pre-tax.
Total with tax was $23.03
Transacation #2:
12 boxes of Totino's pizzas, on sale for $1 each. Had 60 cents off 3 coupons, making them 80 cents each.
12 cans of Libby's pineapples. Had $1 off two coupons, making them 49 cents each
2 bags of frozen shoestring French fries, 79 cents each.
With the $5 off coupon, it brought the pizzas down to 61 cents each, the pineapples down to 30 cents a can, and the fries down to 60 cents a bag.
My total after the $5 coupon and manufacturer coupons was $14.28!!!
I had planned to take pictures when I got home, but I was so tired and cranky that I just put the stuff up. LOL.

Nestle' Nesquik strawberry or chocolate, 14.1 oz, $2.49. Minus the 60 cent off Nesquik powder coupons, makes it $1.89 a can.

Jumbo's and Save-a-Lot deals October 29th
On Saturday, I went to Jumbo's and Save-a-Lot. No pictures of these, but this is what I got:
At Save-a-Lot, I had $5 off $25 purchase coupon (got it from following a link on their website and liking them on Facebook). I don't see that one up anymore, but they do have a Smart Shopper club to join and get one. Anyway, I got the following items:
Cheez-its: $1.69 a box
5# bag of Red Delicious apples: $2.99
The following items were on the 10/$10 sale (or $1 each)
4 of the three pack green peppers
4 Hormel Sandwich pepperoni
6 Banquet frozen dinners
4 Tony's crisp crust pizza
3 boxes Toast 'Em pop-tarts
The $5 off $25 coupon saved an average of 21 cents per item. So that brings all the $1 items down to 79 cents each, the Cheez-its to $1.48, and the apples to $2.78.
At Jumbo's, I got Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper on sale $5.48 for 20 packs. I also got 3 jumbo packs of the extra lean hamburger meat that was on sale for $2.29 a pound, and a jumbo package of roast, on sale for $2.19 a pound. I had a $5 off $50 or more coupon. I spent $57.73 total, but I should be pretty stocked on hamburger meat and roast for a while.

I haven't been to Save-a-Lot in a long time and I am not sure if they accept coupons. Does anyone know? I will try to call and find out if someone doesn't know. I do know they have a link on their page to Facebook. If you like them on Facebook, you get a $5 off a $25 purchase coupon. I got mine this morning!
